Student Scholarship 2012 - $800 FOCUSThe focus of this 2012 scholarship is the recognition of academic excellence for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management at Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University or John Carroll University.. OBJECTIVE A major goal of the APICS Cleveland Chapter is to better educate and inform the professional community which we serve. One way that we may do so is to aid education of highly talented students planning careers in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management.As such, a major objective of the scholarship program is to encourage stronger ties between the local academic community and APICS Cleveland. The purpose of this objective is to support the efforts of students enrolled at Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University or John Carroll University who will most likely be employed by firms operating within the greater Cleveland area. 2012 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD A general $800 academic scholarship for an undergraduate or graduate will be awarded to a student attending Cleveland State University, Case Western Reserve University or John Carroll University. USE OF SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS The specific purpose of the funds is for payment of tuition, books, supplies, and/or other academic materials related to coursework. BASIC ELIGIBILITY All applicants must meet the three criteria listed below to be eligible for scholarship consideration.1. The applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related major2. The applicant must be either a full-time student with minimum of 12 credit hours "or" a part-time student working full time.3. The applicant has an expected graduation in 2012 "or" beyond.
