Position - Director Facilities and Strategy - Distribution/Warehousing/SupplyChain
Location - California and North Carolina
Salary - 6 figures plus bonus/Relocation Package
Industry - Consumer, Electrical, Power
Function - Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, (distribution), warehousing
Certifications - APICS, PMI, Supply Chain, ISM and other appropriate related industry functional certifications

This position involves the planning, development and execution of all engineering for a facility, material handling and optimization design. This individual will be involved with developing and implementing Capital and Network Strategy (Supply Chain) projects in a high volume, multi-location distribution and logistics operations. Network Strategy involves working with Supply chain department and outside vendors regarding capital construction projects with a high volume distribution environment. Purpose is to expand distribution center capacity and efficiency.

Experience:
- 10 years plus large volume distribution experience which may include manufacturing environment.
- 5 years plus experience progressive project management experience in facilities operations.
- Must currently be a manager or director level.
- Education - BS - Engineering. - Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Controls and Automation.
- Experience - 2 years minimum experience involving indepth knowledge of distribution systems and automation with
a thorough knowledge of distribution systems and automation, conveyors, controls and material handling.
- Should have Expert knowledge in Electrical/NEC, electronics/Communications and Motor Controls/PLC
- Personality - detail oriented, troubleshooter, problem solver, strategic, leadership skills, creative, results-oriented, multitasker.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills with the ability to influence management and reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database/data mining and analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and WMS
- Must be able to TRAVEL.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Lean Manufacturing Methodologies. Six Sigma certifications highly desirable.
