Job Description

Demand Planning Manager NE Ohio consumer packaged goods Manufacturer is seeking candidates for Demand Planning Manager. This position is accountable for the development and implementation of an effective product planning, forecasting and allocation strategy to support the company’s business objectives. Primarily responsible for the forecasting and planning of approximately 1500 SKU’s, including finished goods, retail supplies, packaging materials and raw ingredients. Maintains a dynamic demand profile and production plan through monthly forecasting techniques utilizing SOP, forecast transfers, and daily MRP runs. Communicates with various functional leaders to guarantee smooth, efficient operations and delivery of products to primary locations.

Requirements:

• Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience;
• 4-7 years of forecasting, demand planning, or sales analysis experience, exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinker and ability to identify & read business trends,
• APICS certification a plus.
