President-Elect : Bob Stoll

Bob joined the APICS Cleveland Board in 2012. He has nearly 30 years of experience in

engineering and operations and supply chain management. Bob has been a Plant Manager at

three different facilities, domestically and internationally. He is experienced in ERP systems,

quality, government regulation, international design standards, plant safety, logistics, and supply

chain management. Bob currently is an Assistant Professor at Ashland University. Bob has

a Doctorate of Business Administration in Operations & Supply Chain Management from

Cleveland State University, a Master of Science Mechanical Engineering from Case Western

Reserve University, & a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical

Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. 

 

   
 

Past President : Brent Alberda CPIM

Brent Alberda is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for RAM Supply Chain, LLC, which specializes in consulting services for operations management, logistics, inventory management, and capacity planning. With over 20 years of experience in defining, designing, and implementing supply chain solutions, RAM Supply Chain has developed proprietary methods for successfully facilitating changes in the manufacturing process.

Brent earned his CPIM certification in 1987. Over the last 25 years, he has worked with more than 200 manufacturing and distribution companies providing consulting services, ERP implementations, and outsourcing. He also worked for Corning Glass Works as supervisor of production planning, purchasing agent, and department head of firing, packing, and shipping in their technical and industrial ceramics division. Brent is a graduate of Westminster College and has his M.A. from the University of Missouri. t.  

   
 

Treasurer : Dan DiFilippo

Acting President : Dan DiFilippo

Dan joined the APICS Cleveland Board in 2005 as an Assistant to the Director of Special Events and since then has held positions of President, President-Elect, and Director of Education. He has 12+ years of Operations and Supply Chain Management experience ranging from S&OP Planning and Forecasting to Negotiations and Sourcing to Operations Planning and Lean Workflow to Outbound Distribution and Logistics Operations. Dan currently works as the Global Supply Chain Process Leader for Momentive Performance Materials (formerly GE Advanced Materials) where he leads processes with teams in China, Japan, Germany, and the US. He is an alumni of The Weatherhead School of Management and Case Western Reserve’s School of Engineering.

Director of Communications : Edward Merker

Ed Merker

Ed joined APICS in 2004 and has been on the Board of Directors since 2005, serving as Director of Chapter Marketing till 2009.  Ed has changed rolls in 2009 / 20010 to become Director of Communications where he is responsible for the Cleveland Chapter Optimizer.  The Optimizer is the chapter news publication which gets distributed to the chapter membership on a monthly basis.  Ed will continue in this role for the 2010 / 20011 program year.  Ed is a supply chain professional with an MBA and is CPIM certified. He has held numerous managerial positions at local companies.  He has worked in Production Planning, Scheduling, Master Scheduling, and Resource Planning.  Ed currently works for Swagelok Company headquartered in Solon and with plants throughout the Cleveland area.

Director of Marketing : Roger Davis 

Roger joined the APICS Cleveland Board in 2011 as Director of Marketing. He has a bachelor's degree in Finance and an International Management MBA both from Baldwin-Wallace College. He has ten years of experience in management, inventory, supply chain, and materials management. Roger currently works for National Safety Apparel as Supply Chain Manager.

Systems and Technology Advisor : Yvonne Nader

 Yvonne joined APICS Cleveland Board in 2011 as the System and Technology Advisor. She previously served as Treasurer for the Student APICS Chapter at Cleveland State University, where she earned a BBA in Operations & Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Business Analytics. Yvonne currently works in forecast & demand planning at American Greetings.

Director of Membership : Dennis C. Okocha CPIM, C.P.M., CSCP 

Dennis Okocha

 Dennis has served in various capacities on the Cleveland APICS board of

directors. He has been a Director-At-Large, President Elect, President and

currently the Director of Membership for the 2012/13 program year. Dennis holds

the APICS CPIM and CSCP designations along with the Institute for Supply

Management purchasing manager certification (C.P.M). Dennis obtained his

Masters degree in Political Science (Public Administration) from the University

of Lagos, Nigeria. He has over 20 years experience in operations management

and administration related positions. He has worked in Government, higher

education, banking and manufacturing. Dennis currently works as a Materials

Manager at Aero Fluid Products (a division of Transdigm, Inc.). Before joining

AFP, he worked at Henkel Corporation and State Industrial Products. 

 

 

 

Administrator : Niki Zmij 

Niki Zmij joined APICS Cleveland as Administrator in 2011. She currently works full-time as the Administrative Assistant for the Department of Operations & Supply Chain Management at Cleveland State University, where she is earning her MBA and is the President of the CSU APICS Student Chapter. She holds two bachelor's degrees from The Ohio State University in Fine Arts and Art Education. Prior to her position at Cleveland State, Niki was an Account Manager for NetJets, a private aviation company in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, Niki and her team managed over 5,000 owner accounts, providing luxury service to high-profile clientele. Niki is also a practicing artist and an avid rock climber.
